Barbara Carou, RPP and Bria Aird
Barbara Carou, RPP, is a Project Manager with the City of Toronto's Parks, Forestry and Recreation Department with over 10 years of experience in community master plan and public realm projects. Her focus has been to improve and expand the City's open space network in the rapidly growing neighbourhoods of Toronto.
Barbara has a Master of Planning degree from Queen’s University’s and a Bachelor in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto.
Bria Aird is a Master of Urban Development student at Ryerson University. She works as a researcher at the Ryerson City Building Institute and is a student intern at Waterfront and Special Projects unit of Parks, Forestry and Recreation at the City of Toronto. Her current research investigates the possibility of ecological working landscapes in urbanized areas. She is a student member of OPPI.
